Martha Angeline "Angie" Brozik's Obituary
Martha Angeline "Angie" Brozik, 88, formerly of Bald Hill, Greene County, Pa., died Friday, January 17, 2014. Born in Ashdown, Arkansas on March 18, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Huddleston. A high school graduate in Ashdown, she was employed by the Red River Arsenal in Texarkana when she met James Brozik, who was stationed in the area with the US Army. After their marriage on Feb. 2, 1946 in Arkansas, they moved to Bobtown and later to Bald Hill. Angie was a faithful member and Sunday School teacher at the Bald Hill United Methodist Church, and a volunteer at Bobtown s Food Bank. She held an associate degree in practical nursing from Waynesburg College and worked as an LPN at University Hospital in Morgantown. Surviving is her son, James Brozik and his wife Patricia, of Youngstown, Ohio; granddaughter, Kayleigh Brozik of Harrisburg, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Calloway of Richland, Miss., and Ruth Shaffer and husband Carl of Fayetteville, Ark.; a brother, John L Huddleston and wife Nancy of Fayetteville; and a longtime special friend, Lola Lewis, now of Mertztown, Pa., and her family, Peggy (Todd) McQueen of Mertztown, and Allen (Sherry) Lewis of Stevensville, MT. Her beloved husband of 66 years, James K. Brozik, passed away on May 7, 2012. Also deceased is her son Kevin, and three brothers, Robert, James and William Huddleston. Local arrangements are by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
