Martha Helen Benning's Obituary
Martha Helen Benning, 84, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at 10:30 p.m. at Altercare of Alliance. She was born on May 23, 1927 in Cadiz, Ohio and lived in Alliance most of her life. She had been employed by Royal China Co. in Sebring. She is survived by a son, Robert Wayne Benning of Alliance; two grandchildren; a sister, Betty Hoppes of Alliance; a step-sister, Bessie Walburn of Alliance; and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Preceding her in death was her husband, Howard M. Benning on February 21, 1995, whom she married on August 12, 1959; her parents, Delmar and Bessie (Dylan) Peoples; infant sisters, Edna, Grace & Gladys; sisters, Myrtle Jones, Elsie King and Mary Badley; and brothers, Eugene Peoples, Harold Peoples and John Peoples. A Private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ed Harnish of Marlboro Christian Church officiating. Interment will take place at Alliance City Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
