Mark A. Eckert's Obituary
Mark A. Eckert, 49, of Austintown, formerly of Sebring, passed on Friday, July 1, 2011, at the Hospice House in Poland with his family at his side. Born on August 7, 1961 in Alliance, he attended Leonard Kirtz School and also the Javit Retirement Center both in Austintown. Mark was just a very happy person and enjoyed life to the best of his ability. Music, dancing and fishing were most important to him, but most of all was his family. He is survived by his two sisters, Mary (Paul) McCarthy and Barbara Lacivita, both of Alliance; four brothers, Jerry (Chris) Eckert of Beloit, Larry (Eunice) Eckert of Avilla, IN, Gary Eckert of Salem and Earl (Tammy) Eckert of Sebring; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Cyril and Charlene (Potter) Eckert; and a brother-in-law, James Lacivita. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Larry Murphy of the Church of God officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
