Marjorie Snyder's Obituary
Marjorie (Funk) Snyder, 84, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 9:32 am at Altercare of Alliance.
Born on January 17, 1933 in Alliance, to Harold J. and Evelyn Lucille (Green) Funk, she lived in Alliance for all of her life.
Marjorie loved to read and work crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Tony) Miller of Swartz Creek, MI; her son, Eugene Snyder of Alliance; six grandchildren, Sherrie Gracz, Susan Rankin, Tricia Potter, Carrie Haines, Toni Hardy and Michael Snyder; ten great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Austin, David, Madelin, Ryan, Brett, Faith, Brianna, Tyler and Mayleigh; her companion, John Trandafir of Alliance; a sister, Carolyn (Gerald) MacBride of Deerfield; two brothers, William Funk of Lugoff, SC and Thomas (Linda) Funk of Alliance; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert E. Snyder; a son, Kevin Scott Snyder; her parents; and her step-father, Matthew Miskovich. .
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. Jon Truax of Science Hill Community Church, officiating. Cremation has taken place.
