Marjorie B. Johnson's Obituary
Marjorie B. Brogan Johnson, 88, of Sebring, died on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at 2:10 p.m. at Crandall Medical Center. Marjorie was born in Alliance on May 30, 1917, graduated from Alliance High School and attended Mt. Union College. She moved to Washington, D.C. where she served as secretary to Congressman Frank T. Bow and then at the Department of Agriculture. Mrs. Johnson returned to the Alliance area several years ago. She devoted her life to her work. After retiring, she enjoyed reading. Marjorie is survived by two sisters, Betty Leonard of Parma Heights and Mary Lou Barrickman of Sebring; and four nieces and five nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Johnson; and her parents, Harry and Mary (Unger) Brogan. Memorial services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joanne Dota, chaplain of the Hospice of the Valley, officiating. Interment will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park.
