Marilyn Frances Reamer's Obituary
Marilyn Frances Reamer, 74, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 10:25 pm McCrea Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Alliance.
Born on July 16, 1942 in Alliance, to Carl W. and Rose M. (Kocsis) Reamer, and lived in Alliance all of her life.
Marilyn was a graduate of Alliance High School and had retired from Monarch Rubber Co. after 30 years of service as Accounting Clerk.
Marilyn was a longtime, active member of St. Joseph Church, where she had been a Past-President of their Women's Guild and a Past-President of Parish Council. She was an integral part in helping start St. Joseph Bereavement Ministry and was also an Associate of Dominican Sisters of Peace at Our Lady of the Elms in Akron, Ohio since 1989.
Survivors include a niece, Julie Malone of Medina; and a great niece and nephew, Marissa and Ryan Summers.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother William Reamer.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski, of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park.
