Marilyn M. Bossart's Obituary
Marilyn M. (Miller) Bossart, 88, of Alliance, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 11:21 p.m. at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Born on March 12, 1935 in Alliance to Samuel C. and Magdalena "Lena" (Graber) Miller, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
A 1953 graduate of Alliance High School, Marilyn was a member of First Immanuel United Church of Christ.
Marilyn was employed with Alliance Public Schools as a School Bus Driver and retired on June 1, 2000 after 27 ½ years of service.
She was a member of the Coachman Camping Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Frank) Robertson of Bonneau, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her granddaughter, Kimbrely Gunter; third husband, Richard J. Bossart; second husband, Frank E. Detchon; her parents; a sister, Lucille (Elmer) Gobeli; two brothers, Charles A. Miller and Harold E. Miller; sisters-in-law, Jeane Miller, Pat Miller, Norma Reigle, Mary Piccari, Minnie Bossart and Estelle Bossart; and a brother-in-law, James (Estella) Bossart.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Glenn Swope officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to National MS Society, PO Box #91891, Washington, D.C. 20090 – 1891.
