Margaret Lillian Wolford's Obituary
Margaret Lillian Wolford, 87, formerly of Stratton Rd., Salem, died on Thursday, February 5, 2004, at Altercare of Alliance. Born in Smith Township, on March 22, 1916, she graduated from Goshen High School in 1933. She had lived most of her life in Salem moving to Alliance two years ago. She and her husband were the former owners of Wolford's Market in Goshen during the 1950's and 1960's. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Dinger of Whittier, CA; a son, Larry Wolford of Palo Alto, CA; five grandchildren, Natalie (Wolford) Drakulich, Tim Wolford, Stephen Wolford, Michael Wolford and Dean Wolford; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Higerd of Lancaster and Jessie Stratton of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Wolford on September 17, 1992 (they were married on May 26, 1934); a son, Kenneth Wolford on December 13, 2003; her parents, John and Alice (Jackson) Williams; two sisters, Delores Miles and Vivian Greeneisen; and a brother, Jack Williams. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, February 9, 2004, from 1 :00 - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 9, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
