Margaret M. (Randolph) Wayne's Obituary
Margaret M. (Randolph) Wayne, 89, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at 4:12 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in East Springfield, Ohio on March 12, 1916, Margaret attended Kilgore High School and had lived in the Alliance area most of her life. Mrs. Wayne retired from the Alliance Mfg. Company (Genie) in 1981 after 23 years of service. She was an active member of the Alliance Senior Citizens Center working on bingo nights and helping to prepare and serve meals for the dinners held there. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and playing bingo. Margaret was the longest serving member on the committee of the Senior Citizens Bowling Tournament and the tournament was dedicated to her in 1998. She was also an active member of the Alliance Senior Citizens Chorus. She is survived by her daughter, Susan J. (Landis) Allison of Alliance; three grandchildren, Sandra S. Wilson Baddeley of Little River, SC, Gary D. (Brenda) Wilson of Alliance, and Michelle L. Jenkins of Canton; several great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Wayne on April 27, 1977 (they were married on December 21, 1938 at St. Paul s United Brethren Church); her parents, John and Rachel (Karns) Randolph; five sisters; and six brothers. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, November 11, 2005, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 12, 2005, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Linda Hall of St. Paul s United Methodist Church officiating. Internment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
