Margaret F. Walker's Obituary
Margaret F. (Weigand) Walker, 85, of Alliance, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 5:50 am at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio.
Born on September 7, 1939 in Ochsenfurt, Germany to Karl and Theresia (Sieber) Weigand, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
Margaret was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was employed at Sherwood Manufacturing as a seamstress for over 40 years.
Margaret enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, cooking, gardening, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her two sons, Stuart (Cheri) Walker of Orwell and Robert "Bob" Walker of Alliance; two daughters, Helen T. (Bill) Venables of Beloit and Donna Walker of Alliance; seven grandchildren, Sean Walker, Rachael Walker, Joshua (Chelsea) Venables, Zachary (Maddie) Venables, Crystal Walker, Daniel (Ally) Starkey and Maggie (Elliot) Davis; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Horst (Carrola) Sieber of Ochenfurt, Germany; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her parents; and her two sisters, Erika (Ed) Kline and Marlies Schimmer.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am, with Rev. G. David Weikart, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
