Margaret Mae "Peg" Rowley's Obituary
Margaret Mae "Peg" Rowley, 89, of Alliance, died on Monday, April 14, 2003 at 12:35 p.m. at Community Care Center. Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on January 12, 1914, she had been a resident of Alliance for 52 years. , Mrs. Rowley is survived by two daughters, Mary Wiles and Lorena Burrier, both of Alliance; four sons, George Rowley of Yuma, AZ, Samuel Rowley of Alliance, Harry Rowley of Hubbard, and Raymond Rowley of Alliance; 25 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Octa G. Rowley on September 24, 1981 (they were married on June 23, 1934); a daughter, Juanita Hall on May 19, 1994; one grandson; one great-grandson; her parents, Edwin William and Margaret Mae (Oyler) Snyder; two sisters, Bessie Snyder and Freda Grimm; and one brother, Samuel A. Snyder. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dean F. Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow at Limaville Cemetery.
