Margaret L. Rodi's Obituary
Margaret L. (Joseph) Rodi, 100, of Alliance, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Community Care Center in Alliance.
Born on October 18, 1918 in Crabtree, Pennsylvania to Louis and Dorothy (Pompeni) Joseph, she lived in Alliance most of her life.
Margaret was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Women's Guild, and the Funtastics.
She attended Youngtown Chaney High School and was employed at Alliance Manufacturing Co., retiring in 1980 after 30 years of service.
She was a member of the YWCA, Ladies of the Dante Alighieri Society, the AARP and the Alliance Senior Center.
Margaret had also volunteered at Mt. Union College for many years in the Admissions Office.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret (Donald) Felice of Alliance; her son, James R. (Cecelia) Rodi of Alliance; three grandchildren, T.J. (Hollie) Felice of Matthews, NC, Michael (Angela) Felice of Delaware, OH and Chris (Danielle) Felice of Aurora, OH; nine great-grandchildren, Dominic, Joey, Matt, Nick, Blaise, Alex, Audrey, Sonny and Vinny Felice; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James A. Rodi, whom she married on August 5, 1944 and who died on November 1, 2000; her parents; an infant sister, Elizabeth Joseph; her sister, Mary Ceci; and five brothers, Jay, Anthony, Peter, Sam and James Joseph.
Private Services will be held. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
