Margaret L. Oyster's Obituary
Margaret L. (Heltman) Oyster, 79, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her home in Alliance.
Born on May 10, 1938 in Salem, Ohio to John and Margaret (Morris) Heltman, she lived in Alliance all of her life.
A 1957 graduate of Alliance High School, Peggy was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
Peggy was employed at Marlington School District as a School Bus Driver and retired in 1998 after 30 years of service.
She was a member and Past President of BPO Elk's #467 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Oyster whom she married on March 30, 1957; four children, Becky S. (Robert) McMasters of Alliance, Jeffery A. Oyster of Gastonia, NC, Kathy A. (Kevin) Lipely of Alliance and Tammy L. (Gregory) Hagge of Alliance; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Janice (Brian) Marschinke of Alliance; and a brother, Jim Heltman of KY.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two infant daughters, Lori and Diane Oyster; and a brother, Ted Heltman.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
