Elinor Shoop
I met Margaret in the mid 1960�s. She was renting the house my parent purchased on Freshley Road. She and I both loved that strange little house. I met her again through camera club and then shared the dog show experience with her. I remember her first official show dog � Crackers, the Afghan hound and then her Borzoi�s, Tillie and Pagan. We had a lot of fun those show dog years � Rikki Clayton was involved then also � and very thankful to have had such good friends. During the time my husband and I had the photo studio, Margaret help us out from time to time with weddings. What an experience! I stayed in touch with Margaret after I moved to Columbus area, but it was long distance. I stopped to see her when I was in the Alliance area and always enjoyed seeing her again. She was a great person and my life was richer for having known her.
