Margaret M. "Marge" Egan's Obituary
Margaret M. "Marge" Egan, 82, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 3:57 p.m. at Akron City Hospital. Born on April 14, 1930 in Chicago, IL, she lived in Alliance most of her life. She was a graduate of Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Illinois near Chicago. Marge retired from Alliance Community Hospital in 1997, where she was a surgical nurse for over 45 years. She was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. In her past-time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her brother Robert (Cheryl) Egan of Alliance; 31 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Edward S. and M. Frances (McGuire) Egan; three sisters, Kathleen A. Dobernick, Mary Frances Peterson, and Joan C. Egan; and three brothers, John E. "Jack" Egan, Edward J. Egan, and Thomas M. Egan. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
