Margaret L. Bucklew's Obituary
Margaret L. Bucklew, 78, of Alliance, died on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 1:35 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center in Canton. Born near Fairmont, WV, on December 16, 1925, she had lived in Alliance for the past 49 years. Mrs. Bucklew retired from the bakery at the former Buckeye Village Market. She enjoyed working at her booth at the Hartville Flea Market and going to auctions and garage sales. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bucklew, whom she married in 1955; two daughters, Sue Hamm of Fairview Park, OH; and Jean Bishara of Richmond Heights, OH; three sons, Denny Butcher and Gary Butcher, both of Alliance, and Robert Bucklew, Jr. of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Harsh of Fairmont, WV; and a brother, Glendon Summers of Colfax, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Harry F. and Susan (Satterfield) Summers; three sisters, Clara, Mildred, and Jeanette; and a brother Burdette. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday, February 29, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 1, 2004, at 11 :00 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Rosenstein of the Zion United Church of Christ of Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
