Margaret A. Bruni 's Obituary
Margaret A. "Peg I" Bruni, 68, of Alliance, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 am at her home in Alliance.
Born on July 18, 1947 in Alliance, Ohio to Hugo A. and Margaret (Lucchesi) Bruni, she lived in Alliance for all of her life.
A 1965 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Canton, she also graduated from Kent State University.
She was a member of and past officer of the Roma Society, V.F.W. Post 1036 Ladies Auxiliary; and the American Legion Post 166 Ladies Auxiliary.
Margaret had previously worked at Value City as a Department Manager for 5 years and was also in the hospitality business with restaurant & bar management, having owned "Peg I's Pub for several years; but always went home to the family business: Bruni Brothers. She recently retired from the American Legion and had volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed gardening, genealogy; especially Italian, and loved her cats, Manicotti, Rigatoni & Pastina.
Survivors include a brother, David (Denise) Bruni of Alliance, OH; niece, Dena Renee (Mike) Flowers of Sebring, OH; nephew, Daniel (Kim) Bruni of Alliance, OH; two great-nephews, Gavin Bruni & Ryan Bruni; and a special cousin, Cookie (Ricci) Chepke of Austintown, OH.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Hugo A. & Margaret Bruni.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
