Marcella E. (Stutz) Drakulich's Obituary
Marcella E. (Stutz) Drakulich, 79, of Alliance, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 9:36 p.m. at Aultman Hospital. She was born on October 24, 1927 in Fredericksburg and had lived in Alliance since 1949. Mrs. Drakulich was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Marcella was a graduate of St. Thomas School of Nursing in Akron in 1948 and was a registered nurse for Alliance City Hospital and various area nursing homes through the years. In 1996, Marcella retired from Sun Valley Nursing Home as the Director of Nurses. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing, playing cards and was a member of a monthly neighborhood card club. Marcella is survived by her husband, Peter Drakulich whom she married on February 26, 1949; two daughters, Catherine (Randy) Stenhouse of Massillon and Cecelia Drakulich of Alliance; four sons, Thomas (Rhonda) Drakulich of Alliance, Timothy (Becky) Drakulich of North Canton, Mark (Natalie) Drakulich of Alliance, and Michael (Nancy) Drakulich of Alliance; ten grandchildren, Alissa, Emily, Joseph, Adam, James, Sarah, Rachel, Steve, Matthew and Katie; two sisters, Genevieve (Sam) Gusbarre of Richfield and Mary (Charles) Williams of Massillon; two brothers, Walter (Eva) Stutz of Wooster and Loran (Shirley) Stutz of Lore City; a sister-in-law Martha Stutz of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pearl (Chenevey) Stutz; a grandson, Alexander Otani on July 1, 2006; and a brother, Joseph Stutz. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Regina Coeli Catholic Church on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
