Magdaline "Peggy" Ramsey's Obituary
Magdaline "Peggy" Ramsey, 86, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, June 5, 2002, in North Hollywood, California, while visiting her family. Born in Royal, Pennsylvania on November 2, 1915, she had lived most all of her life in the Alliance area. Peggy enjoyed gardening and cooking and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Irene Ramsey and Mrs. Lance (Joyce) Miller, both of Burbank, California; her three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gavcus, Lance Miller and Jennifer Childs; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Irene Gach, Helen Paina and Pauline Choma, all of Alliance, and Ethel Games of Elyria, Ohio; a brother, Paul Kovach of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph and Mary (Matyiku) Ramsey; two sisters, Mary Charpan and Vema Kovach; and two brothers, Nick and Joseph Kovach. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11, 2002, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
