Mac A. Regoli's Obituary
Mac A. Regoli, 69, of Freeburg, OH, passed away at 2:13 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center, after a hard battle with cancer. Born on April 13, 1944 in Alliance, to Mac and Edna (Forney) Regoli, he was a 1962 graduate of Alliance High School. Mr. Regoli worked at Alliance Machine Company for 38 years. Mac was a 25 year member and director at Dr. Roach Outdoor League and a member of the Louisville Eagles. He was an avid Harley Rider and loved cheering for his favorite teams, the Steelers, Yankees, and Alliance Aviators. He also loved camping, fishing, hunting with his dogs, and listening to his favorite bands. Mac loved life and lived every day to the fullest, never letting his illness get him down. He had an amazing sense of humor that will truly be missed. He was one of a kind and a true hero to everyone that knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jaydne Regoli; a daughter, Sara Regoli of Alliance and her fianc , Roger Lilly; a son, Brad Regoli of Paris, OH; two sisters, Joanne (Dave) Baker of Minerva and Joyce (Stan) Salamon of North Canton; mother-in-law, Betty Neel; two sisters-in-law, Linda Berg and Charlotte Neel (Libby-Rush); and several nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Delmar Neel; and his brother-in-law, Robert Neel. The family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center, including Dr. Peereboom and Dr. Garcia, and Mercy Medical Center ER and 8 Main, for their compassion and support during his final hours. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Freeburg Church of the Brethren. In celebration of Mac s life, the family asks that for the funeral, everyone come dressed casual. Wear your favorite biker or sports team paraphernalia. These are the things that brought him so much joy in life.
