Mabel L. Harding's Obituary
Mabel L. Harding, 87, of Alliance, died on Monday, February 21, 2005, at 1:55 a.m. at Altercare of Alliance. Born in Wheeling, WV, on April 7, 1917, Mabel lived in Alliance since 1952 and was a member of the Bolton United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Carver of Alliance and Beverly Doughty of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leroy Harding in March, 1981, they were married on March 6, 1940; a daughter, Charlene Williams in 1968; her parents, William Walter Webster and Nellie Louise Frances (Remmy) Shively; three sisters, Sarah Briggs, Betty Kinsel and Willa Mae Carleton. Graveside services will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Peters officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
