Mabel A. Dickerhoff's Obituary
Mabel A. Dickerhoff, 77, of Alliance, died on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at her home. She was born on June 26, 1931 in Cleveland, and had lived in Alliance since 1975. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo. Mrs. Dickerhoff enjoyed golf and loved spending time with her family. Mabel is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila (Tim) Billheimer of Alliance; a son and daughter-in-law, Allan (Paula) Dickerhoff of Alliance; three grandchildren, Tenille (Billheimer) Dutrow, Allan Dickerhoff and Tiffany Dickerhoff, all of Canton; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Nikolas and Cyrus. Preceding her in death on April 6, 2007, was her husband of 59 years, Glenn Allan Dickerhoff; two infant sons; her parents, Madison and Blanche (Latimer) LaFollette; a sister, Norma Jean LaFollette; and three brothers, William, Thomas and Alex LaFollette. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Ungashick, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton.
