Luis Colon's Obituary
Luis Colon, 53, of Alliance, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 5:25 am at Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron.
Born on October 11, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to Rosa Garcia, he lived in Alliance for most of his life.
Luis was employed at Kissel Amusement Company for over 13 years.
He was a huge Star Trek fan and followed the TV show Game of Thrones.
Survivors include two brothers, Jimmy Garcia and Joseph Garcia, both of Alliance; two sisters, Nancy Colon of Akron and Rosemary Garcia of Philadelphia, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Rosa Garcia; and a brother, Kenneth Chico Garcia.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Funeral Service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to offset funeral expenses.
