Lucile A. "Snooki" Schrader's Obituary
Lucile A. "Snooki" Schrader, 84, of Alliance, died on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3:15 a.m. at the Sterling House in Salem. She was born on February 27, 1927 in Alliance and lived here most of her life. She resided in Florida for 19 years and recently returned to Alliance. An Alliance High School graduate, she was also a graduate of the Cleveland School of Nursing. Mrs. Schrader was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Alliance Women s Club, enjoyed flower arranging, playing bridge and especially fishing. Lucille and her husband Jack had previously owned and operated the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home for many years. Survivors include her two sons, J. Philip (Karen) Schrader of Hilton Head, SC and Jeffrey (Fran) Schrader of Alliance; five grandchildren, Jaime, Lyndsey, Calle, Jesse and Danielle; a great-grandson, Gavin; and a niece, Bobbi (Wayne) Newbury. Preceding her in death was her husband, John B. "Jack" Schrader on January 2, 2010, whom she married on married on February 11, 1950; her parents, Earl M. and Dorothy (Greenwood) Walton; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park Chapel on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. David Ashbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
