Loyal C. "Fish" Williams, Sr.'s Obituary
Loyal C. "Fish" Williams, Sr., 47, of 9645 Bandy Road, Alliance, died on Monday, April 29, 2002, at the Emergency Room of Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, following an accident at work. Born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, on November 2, 1954, he had lived in the Alliance area for most of his life. He was employed at G.M.E. in Ravenna as a welder. He is survived by his wife, Gail (Barker) Williams, whom he married on March 10, 1976; daughter Crystal Williams of the home; son and daughter-in-law Loyal and Lisa Williams, Jr. of Alliance; three grandchildren, Donald Williams, Cody Cooper and Loyaltina Williams; four sisters, Joann Burley and Judy.Hall of Cameron, W.Va.; Doris Yeater and Mary Palmer of New Martinsville, W.Va.; four brothers, Lonnie Blake and Royal Williams, of New Martinsville, W.Va; John Williams of Cameron W.Va; and Jerry Williams of Littleton, W.Va; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, John Henry and Helen (Blake) Williams; sister Rose Wise; and a brother Harold Williams. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Thursday, May 2, 2002, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, May 3, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Stout, officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
