Louise J. Rupp's Obituary
Louise Josephine Rupp, 103, of Alliance, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Sterling House of Alliance. She was born on July 13, 1908 in Salem, Ohio and had graduated from Salem High School. She had moved to Alliance in 1936. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she had also been a former member of their Altar & Rosary Society and of their Funtasticks Club. She was also a former member of Church Women United. Mrs. Rupp had retired as a legal secretary and had been employed at Gwin, Tangi & Moushey Law Firm. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and playing cards. She is survived by two sons, Glenn (Lois) Rupp of Alliance, OH and Robert (Jacqueline) Rupp of Scottsdale, AZ; four grandchildren, Lori Reiman of Scottsdale, AZ, Jennifer Kirby of Alliance, Kristen Koler of Manassas, VA, Allison Nagashima of Dublin, OH; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Karl L. Rupp on July 8, 1992, whom she married on June 24, 1936; her parents, Anthony and Josephine (Lippert) Himmelspach; a sister, Aileen Carns; and two brothers, Francis Himmelspach and Raymond Himmelspach. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Matthew M. Mankowski, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
