Louise A. McCaw's Obituary
Louise A. McCaw, 88, of Sebring, died on Friday, April 23, 2004, at 11:30 a.m. at Crandall Medical Center. Louise was born on June 9, 1915 in Joseph Mills, WV and has lived in the Alliance and Sebring areas since 1941. During World War II she was employed at Alliance Manufacturing. She attended Union Avenue United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Women's Mission Group and the Hively Sunday School Class. She also attended the First Baptist Church and their Fireside Sunday School Class. Mrs. McCaw was a member of the Alliance Community Hospital Auxiliary and AARP #2630. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Sharon Bramhall of North Olmsted; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and William Morrison of Alliance; three stepdaughters, Marylyn Smith of Garden City, SC, Evelyn Linville of Canton, and Colleen Patrick of Glenville, P A; a stepson, Larry McCaw of Massillon; a brother, Roy Ash of Lumberport, WV; 6 grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, James McCaw on June 8, 1999 (whom she married July 30, 1973); a step-daughter, Carolyn Wise; a granddaughter, Dianna Morrison; her first husband C. Emery Bramhall on February 27, 1966; her parents Harry and Jessie (Tallman) Ash; and two sisters, Edna Slocum and Lucy Maiden. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
