Louis T. Skivolocke's Obituary
Louis T Skivolocke, 92, of Alliance, died on Sunday, September 15, 1985 at Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on February 13, 1893 in Alliance, Ohio to Frank and Maria (Stenico) Schivalocchi, he lived in Alliance for all of his life.
Louis was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was also a member of the Roma Club and the Dante Alighieri Society, and was also a social member of the Saxon Lodge.
Louis retired from B&W Tubular, Rush St. Plant and he enjoyed working on his own Farm.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Valentine) Skivolocke, whom he married on October 7, 1916; three daughters, Doletta (Forrest) Gallina of Alliance, OH, Helen (Albert) DeStephen of Alliance, OH, Doris (Robert) Runion of Sebring, OH; two sons, Frank J. Skivolocke of Youngstown, OH, Louis E. Skivolocke of Alliance, OH; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Lena Boni of Chuluota, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Maria (Stenico) Schivalocchi; three sisters, Mary Gardner, Josephine Tarolli, Cecilia Marini; and a brother, Rudolph "Rudy" Skivolocki.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 17, 1985 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling Funeral Home.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 1985 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Fr. Robert Edwards as celebrant.
Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
