Lois J. Woolf's Obituary
Lois J. (Igro) Woolf, 80, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9:25 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. Born on April 15, 1933 in Alliance, she lived in the Alliance area most of her life and was a graduate of Alliance High School. She retired from Erie Insurance after 15 years of service. Mrs. Woolf was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #76 in Sebring, the 40 & 8, Caban #10 in Canton, Salon #393 in Lake Milton and Caban Grande Ohio. In her past-time, she enjoyed traveling, quilting, crocheting, gardening and reading. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Woolf, whom she married on September 20, 1952; three sons, Frank A. Woolf of the home, Michael J. (Barbara) Woolf of Alliance and Stephen F. (Christine) Woolf of Louisville; six grandchildren, Jonathon (Deanna) Woolf, Christopher (Carli) Woolf, Anthony (Deidra) Woolf, Katie, Emily and Annie Woolf; a great-grandson, Grayson; a sister, Connie; a brother, Dennis (Tim Martin) McClarren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her daughter, Mary Ann Woolf; her father, Frank Igro and her mother, Helen (Dzuroff) Igro McClarren. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Sams of Alliance Friends Church officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
