Linda L. Brady's Obituary
Linda Louise (Jackson) Brady, 82, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at her home in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on February 21, 1944 in Buffalo, New York to Thomas A. and Margaret E. (Reed) Jackson, she lived in Alliance for most of her life.
A 1962 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, she also attended Kent State University.
Linda retired from Overhead Door, Genie Division after 19 years of service.
Linda was a member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church and loved her church family. She enjoyed calligraphy, belonging to several guilds. She was also a member of the Louisville Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Alliance Area Republican Club, NRA, and was volunteer for the Cancer Society - Reach to Recovery Program for many years, earning the Terese Lasser Award.
Survivors include her sister Donna L. Kalbers of Euclid; her daughter Lisa M. (Casey) Carter of Alliance; her son, Sean D. (Donna) Brady of Abilene, TX; three grandchildren, Amanda (Dennis) Worley, Joseph (Courtney) Legros and Sean Michael (Elise) Brady; eight great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Mia and Matthew Myers, Colton, Jase and Lillianna Legros, Hudson and Sebastian Brady; one great-great-grandchild, Atlas Mitchell; two sisters-in-law, Maureen (Rick) Kugelman and Kay Brady; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant daughter, Lisa Gaye Brady; and a brother, Thomas A. Jackson, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon with Rev. Rebecca Weamer, of Union Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Union Cemetery. A luncheon gathering will take place at Union Avenue United Methodist Church after the burial service.
