Linda K. Bickley's Obituary
Linda K. Bickley, 51, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 14, 2008, at 4:55 a.m. at her home. She was born on December 15, 1956 in Cleveland, and grew up in Nashville, TN and then relocated to Alliance. Linda was a member of Fellowship Baptist in Beloit. She also attended Destiny House in Calcutta, Ohio and the Alliance First Friends Church where she tithed. Ms. Bickley worked at the Alliance Eagle s for the past three years, prior to that she was with Shaffer s Diner for fifteen years. She was the past president of the Alliance Eagles Auxiliary. Linda is survived by her daughter, Daniella (Eric) Swopes of Alliance; a son, James (Stephanie) Rogers of Sebring; three grandchildren, Madison Marie Rogers, Allison Leah Rogers and Armando Rizell Mays; her mother, Myrtle Travis of the home; and seven aunts. Preceding her in death was her father, James Travis; and her longtime companion, Robert Melott on February 22, 2005. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 12:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. James White of Fellowship Baptist officiating. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Salineville.
