Lillian M. (Rasile) Hahn's Obituary
Lillian M. (Rasile) Hahn, 98, of Alliance, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 6:50 pm at Crandall Medical Center. She was born on September 6, 1916 in Limaville, Ohio to Emilo and Rose (Troisi) Rasile and lived in Alliance for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. During the war years, Lillian worked in Cleveland at a clothing company where she sewed top coats for area soldiers. She later retired as an assembler from Alliance Manufacturing Co. in 1971. She loved cooking, sewing and was an avid reader. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Lynn H. (William) Wright of Alliance, OH; two step-grandchildren, Michelle (Eugene) McKenzie of Homeworth, OH, and Michael (Cara) Wright of Hudson, OH; four step-great-grandchildren, Courtney McKenzie, Cody McKenzie, Maria Wright, and Max Wright; two sisters, Marian Rasile of TN, and Margaret McCaskey of AL; two brothers, Vito Rasile of FL, and Leonard Rasile of AR; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen P. Hahn, whom she married on March 30, 1940 and died on February 24, 2003; a son, Leonard Allen Hahn; her parents, Emilo and Rose (Troisi) Rasile; three sisters, Stella See, Virginia Rasile, and Ida Russo; and a brother, John Rasile. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
