Lewis L. Retterer's Obituary
Lewis L. Retterer, 93, of Sebring, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 6:40 am at Alliance Community Hospital.
Born on June 11, 1921 in Warren, Pennsylvania to Norman L. and Anna J. (Christinsen) Retterer, he lived in Alliance for most of his life.
A veteran of World War II, he served our country in the U.S. Army.
Lewis retired from Americana China, in Sebring as a Commercial Artist.
Mr. Retterer enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol B. Davis of Alliance; a son, Norman L. (Bobbie Jo) Retterer of Ruffin, NC; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his wife Edith P. (Whipple) Retterer, on March 14, 2005; his daughter, Debra R. Retterer; his parents; a sister, Joanne Retterer; and his son-in-law, Russell Davis.
His Memorial Service will be held at Highland Memorial Park on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Marty Cash-Burless, chaplain of University of Mount Union, officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
