Leo F. Lair's Obituary
Leo F. Lair, 77, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. He was born on February 24, 1934 in Alliance to the late Glen F. and Margaret (Weyer) Lair. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1952 and was employed at E.W. Bliss in Salem, Ohio for 33 years as a machinist. Leo had a great love for the outdoors, which included hunting, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his three daughters, Susan Paxson of Alliance, OH, Teri Henning of Mesopotamia, OH and Mary (Peter) Merrill of Jacksonville, NC; three sons, Glen (Christine Brown) Lair of Cleveland, OH, John Lair of Alliance, OH and Joe (Caren Lattur) Lair of Cleveland, OH; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joann (Bill) Truex of Canton, OH. A Memorial Service will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Marvin Brown officiating.
