Laura L. Laird 's Obituary
Laura L. Laird, 59, of Columbiana, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 5:30 pm at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman, Ohio.
Born on June 27, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to William Edward and Anna (Westich) Laird, she lived in Mansfield for most of her life, and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
She was active with the Cleveland Sight Center and was a member of the Highbrook Lodge in Chardon, OH.
Laura enjoyed swimming, traveling, shopping, animals, food, and spending time with family and friends in West Virginia.
She participated for over 15 years in the Special Olympics and had received over 40 medals.
Survivors include her mother, Anna Laird of Flatwoods, WV; a brother, Louis E. (Helene) Laird of Alliance, OH; a sister, Alicia (Steven) Davis of Flatwoods, WV; several cousins, aunts, and an uncle; and two nieces and a nephew.
Preceding her in death was her father, William Edward “Bill” Laird; and her brother, Michael Laird.
Private Family Services will be held at Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson, PA.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Cleveland Sight Center, 1909 E. 101th St., Cleveland, OH 44106.
