Larry E. Lynn's Obituary
Larry E. Lynn, 87, of Salem, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 4:05 am at The Orchards of Alliance in Alliance, Ohio.
Born on February 10, 1938 in Youngstown to Anthony J. and Marie (Hafke) Lynn, he lived in Salem for most of his life.
A graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Larry was a member of the Austintown Community Church.
He was employed at Everflow Eastern as a Drilling Superintendent and retired in 1999 after 15 years of service.
Larry’s life revolved around Horse Racing.
Survivors include his two sons, Mark D. Lynn of Berlin Center and Duane A. Lynn of Berlin Center; a sister-in-law, Debbie Lavoy of Canton, OH; brother-in-law, Mickey (Shannon) Charlton of Wadsworth; and a niece, Rachel (Mike) Duncan of Massillon.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Kathy L. (Charlton) Lynn on June 26, 2015; his parents; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Martha R. Charlton.
Per his request, there will be no services. Burial will take place next to his wife, Kathy, in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
