Larry A. Grantz's Obituary
Larry A. Grantz, 66, of Alliance, passed on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1944 in Warren, Ohio, and raised in Lordstown. He had lived in Alliance for the last 38 years. He served our country in the U. S. Army from 1961 - 1964. He retired from PTC Alliance, where he was employed as a Tube Inspector. Mr. Grantz was a member of Roma Society and in his past-time, he enjoyed woodworking, carving and making wooden toys. He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Dowdy) Grantz whom he married on April 12, 1975; a daughter, Susie (Scott) Gindlesperger of Alliance; five grandchildren, Frankie M. Myers, Amber Myers, Kaley Myers, Ricky Ingledue, and Damien Ingledue. Preceding him in death were two sons, Dale Lee Myers and Timothy J. Myers. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
