Larry Brown's Obituary
Larry Allan Brown, adored husband, father and grandfather died in his home in his wife’s arms on April 17, 2022.
His is survived by his wife, Beth Dawson Brienza Brown who he married on April 7, 1990; his children: daughter Tiffany Goddard and son Nickolas Brienza; and his grandchildren: Jalyn Goddard, Luke Van Orsdale, Drew Goddard and Alex Goddard.
He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew A Brown; his parents, Donald and Catherine Brown; his brother, Bill Brown; and his brother by marriage, Bob Dawson.
Larry was a 1967 graduate of Alliance High School and attended Ohio University and Kent State University where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering. He retired as Alliance City Parks Director in 2003 after 30 years service with the Alliance Parks Department.
Larry loved his family above all else. His happiest times were those spent with them. He was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. Those who knew him best also treasured his sense of humor.
Larry was an avid sports fan and enjoyed his collection of sports memorabilia. He was also an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
There will be a private celebration of Larry’s life as per his request.

He will remain, always, in our hearts.
In remembrance of Larry’s life, the family requests that any charitable donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
