Kevin E. Speakman's Obituary
Kevin E. Speakman, 42, of Paris, Ohio, died on Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at 9:40 a.m. following an auto accident. Born in Canton on February 27, 1962, he lived in the Alliance area most of his life. Kevin was a graduate of Alliance High School and was a TDDS graduate. He was a truck driver for Dayton Freight of Brimfield. Kevin was a member of the Minerva Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Minerva VFW, and a member of the NE Tractor Pullers Association. He also enjoyed tractor pulling and drag racing. He is survived by his wife, Tina M. (Linder) Speakman (whom he married August 8, 1987); a daughter, Rachel M. Speakman and a son, Matthew E. Speakman both of the home; his step-father, Edward Kennedy, Sr. of Sebring; 2 sisters, Deborah (Dave) Minor of Minerva and Vicki (Dave) Tignor of Roseville; five brothers, Doug Speakman and Rick Speakman, both of Minerva, Ray Kennedy of Massillon, Ron Kennedy of Canton, and Edward Kennedy Jr., of North Benton; several nieces and nephews; and one great-niece. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd E. Speakman; his mother, Thelma N. (McCausland) Kennedy; his grandparents, Burdell and Beulah McCausland; and a nephew, David Allen Tignor. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Howard Ziemba of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
