Kerry L. Marx's Obituary
Kerry L. “Boo” Marx, 60, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 4:12 pm at Avita-Galion Hospital in Galion, Ohio.
Born on January 9, 1958 in Alliance, to Eugene and Betty (Craig) Marx, he lived in Alliance all of his life.
A 1976 graduate of Marlington High School, Kerry was employed at LKQ of Akron as a Truck Driver and retired from American Steel after 26 years of service.
He was a member of the Christopher Columbus Society.
Kerry coached softball, bowled in several bowling leagues in Alliance, was an avid sports fan of Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavs and Ohio State. He loved to spend time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter, Brittny (Will) Bowin of Galion; his two grandchildren, Karra Bowin and William F. "Liam" Bowin, VIII; a brother, Terry (Linda) Marx of Hartville; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, Eugene Marx; his mother, Betty Marx - Kimes; his step-father, Kenneth Kimes; and a brother, Larry Marx.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home. His Celebration of Life Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Andy Grimes, of the Galion Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
