Kenneth Scheible's Obituary
Kenneth G. Scheible, 77, of Alliance, passed away at home surrounded by his daughters on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Born on December 8, 1946 in Alliance, to Donald and Roseann (Barcus) Scheible, he lived in Alliance all of his life.
A 1964 graduate of Alliance High School, he received his Associate Degree from Kent State University.
Kenneth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Council #558.
A veteran of the Vietnam Era, he served our country in the U.S. Navy.
Kenneth was employed at B & W Tubular Products as an inspector and retired after 42 years of service. He served as President of the local AFL-CIO for over 25 years.
He was also a member of the former Stark Teen and Alliance Jaycees.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing, bike riding, and playing with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his three daughters, Tina (Rodney) Cunningham of Sebring, Leiann Scheible of Alliance and Samantha Luca of Alliance; nine grandchildren, Rodney (Tricia) Cunningham, Molly (Nathan) Warner, Julia Cunningham, Bryanne Luca, Adriann Lenore, Austin Scheible, Cadence Luca, Adalynn Scheible, and Dalaney Luca; his great-granddaughter, Ellie Cunningham; a brother, James Scheible; two sisters, Maryann Barker and Linda Marx; and several nieces and nephews.
He was reunited with his wife of 58 years, Connie Lee (Pasco) Scheible who passed away on November 18, 2023.
Also preceding him in death were his two sons, John and Joseph Scheible; his parents; and three brothers, Donald, Thomas and Richard Scheible.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. G. David Weikart, as celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.
