Kenneth "Chico" Garcia's Obituary
Kenneth "Chico" Garcia, 42, of Alliance, died on Monday, January 3, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 29, 1962, Chico lived in Alliance since 1979. He was formerly employed at Don Poncho s Restaurant and loved to ride motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Valerie (DiLoreto) Garcia; four daughters, Michelle Garcia and Roberta Patton, both of Canton, Angelica Garcia and Rosea Garcia, both of Massillon; one son, Hosea Garcia of California, six grandchildren; his parents, Rosa (Rodriequez) Garcia of Alliance and Pedro Garcia of New Jersey; four sisters, Rosemary Garcia of Philadelphia, PA, Waleska Garcia of Rhode Island, Jeannete Garcia of New York and Nancy Colon of Canton; five brothers, Luis Colon, Jimmy Colon, Joseph Garcia, Rafael Colon, all of Alliance, and Jimmy Garcia of Rhode Island; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
