Keith A. Myers' Obituary
Keith A. Myers, 63, of Louisville died on Sunday, June 27, 2004, at 10: 15 p.m. at Manor Care in Canton. Born in Salineville on February 14, 1941, Keith lived in the Alliance area most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Keith was a machinist at the General Electric Lamp Plant in Ravenna. He was an honorary track coach for Marlington High School for the past two years and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Joanne (Glass) Myers (whom he married October 19, 1958); two daughters, Valerie (Jason) Shipbaugh of Louisville and Jennifer Myers of Homeworth; three sons, Keith (Dawn) Myers, Jr. of Alliance, Glenn Myers of Alliance, and Donald Myers of Akron; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six sisters, Vera May of Leetonia, Edith Spears of Circleville, Shirley Fox of Alliance, Marge Hazen of Louisville, Joanne Kapalko of Sebring, and Janet Lowes of Nelsonville; a brother, James Myers of Sebring, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret (Wright) Myers; a sister, Lois Mazzei; and a brother, Lloyd Myers. The family will receive friends at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 29, 2004, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at 11 :00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Good officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
