Kathryn M. Steepleton's Obituary
Kathryn M. Steepleton, 73, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at 2:30 a.m., at her home. She was born on February 25, 1937 in Newcastle, PA, and lived in Alliance most of her adult life. She graduated high school in Newcastle, PA. Kathryn was a homemaker and helped her husband run a contracting business. Mrs. Steepleton was a member of St. Paul s Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Rural Harmony and the Christian Women s Club. She enjoyed gardening and helping others. Kathryn is survived by her husband, Carroll Steepleton whom she married on August 1, 1985; a daughter, Paula Thompson of Alliance; two sons, Michael (Holly) Thompson of Winterhaven, FL and John (LaChelle) Thompson of Alliance; five grandchildren, Jeremy Thompson, Joseph (Kasandra) Thompson, Michael Anthony (Daniele) Thompson II; Dannielle (Shannon) Fair and Alexandria (John) Sarchione; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara "Betsy" (Richard) Goshorn of Alliance; a brother, George (Izetta) Schuller of Homeworth; several nieces and nephews; a step-daughter; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Michael and Kathryn (Schneider) Schuller; and two brothers, Paul and Clarence Schuller. The family will receive friends at St. Paul s Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul s Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Timothy Muse officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
