Kathleen Ruth (Baker) Kuceyeski's Obituary
Kathleen Ruth (Baker) Kuceyeski, 91, of Alliance, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 4:10 a.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on May 10, 1922 in Tylersburg, Pennsylvania to Vern and Myrna (Culmer) Baker and lived in Alliance for most of her life. Kathleen was a 1940 graduate of Alliance High School, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Kuceyeski retired as a laborer from Keener Rubber Co. and was also employed at Taylorcraft during World War II. She enjoyed spending time with her family, garage sales, watching the Alliance Aviator, Libertyville Wildcat, and Northwestern football teams, and she took pride in all of her family s accomplishments. Kathleen is survived by her three sons, Jerry (Joanie), Kuceyeski of Tippecanoe, OH; Ronald (Kathleen) Kuceyeski of Alliance; and Randy (Martha) Kuceyeski of Libertyville, IL; her grandchildren, Wendy, Amy, Erin, Britt, John, Kristen, Karlin, and Corbin; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Evan, Ellis, Patrick, Kelsey, and Meghan; and lifelong, dedicated friend, Carol Marini. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Joeseph Kuceyeski on Ocotber 1, 1976; and also her parents. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Matthew J. Mankowski, of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
