Kathleen Elliott's Obituary
Kathleen M. (Specht) Elliott, 68, of Streetsboro, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
She was born on February 5, 1957 in Alliance to Robert R. and Elizabeth J. (Haidet) Specht.
A 1975 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, she held various jobs in office management.
Kathy was very strong in her faith in the Lord and was very active in her church throughout her life. She loved to pray for loved ones and friends.
She enjoyed feeding and watching birds and playing bingo and poker. She fought MS for more than 25 years and continued to fight her cancer diagnosis up until the end, living up to her nickname "Mule Head" given by her mother.
Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Smoot of Parkville, MD; two grandchildren, Leonard and Elizabeth Smoot; two brothers, Richard Specht of Grand Junction, CO and Robert Specht of Mogadore, OH; a sister, Suzanne Gilster of Monument, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Thomas, and James Specht.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Chapel. A luncheon to follow at Chives Grille.
