June I. Conrad's Obituary
June I. Conrad, 66, of Alliance, died on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:27 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on May 24, 1944 in Canfield to Clarence O. and Vera (Fenton) Dearth. June was a 1963 graduate of West Branch High School and also graduated from the Alliance Beauty School with a Certificate of Managing Cosmetology. She had managed Stepp s Beauty Salon before moving to Akron and upon her return to Alliance, she worked as a silk screen operator for Americana Arts in Sebring. In 1981 June began employment at A.R. Schopps and Son s as a pipe organ assembler. With her retirement in 1990, she married Roland E. Conrad, who survives her. She is also survived by a daughter, Katharine (Jim) Morrow of Homeworth; a granddaughter, Clairessa and a grandson Samuel; a sister, Judith Cox of Beloit; a brother, James (Pat) Dearth of Alliance; and three nieces and a nephew. The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Marty Cash-Burless officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
