Judith A. Frank's Obituary
Judith A. (Cunningham) Frank, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 4:00 pm at her home in Homeworth, Ohio.
Born on April 14, 1940 to Arthur Murray and Alberta Mae Cunningham, Judy grew up and lived in Alliance and graduated from Alliance High School. She then went on to college at Westminster College in New Wilmington PA, where she earned her degree in social work.
Judy met her future husband, Harold Frank, when they were in a wedding party of mutual friends. They later married on September 11, 1965 at St. Joseph Catholic Church where she and Harold were lifetime members.
Judy worked as a social worker for a period of time before she and her husband bought the family farm in Homeworth in 1974 where she became a full-time farmer and homemaker. Her husband Harold died earlier this year on February 23, 2021.
Judy enjoyed country life, including riding horses, gardening, raising farm animals, breeding Dobermans, and socializing with friends and family especially while playing cards.
Survivors include son, Mark (Kathy) Frank of Beloit, OH; daughter, Joanne (Steve) Fedder of New Franklin, OH; five grandchildren, Morgan and Riley Frank, Claire, Lauren, and Matthew Fedder; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Pepper.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold R. Frank; and brother Murray Cunningham.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 9:00 am - 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maximo with services beginning promptly at 9:30 am, with Fr. G. David Weikart, as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery across the street from the church. A light brunch will be served at the church hall following the burial.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Judy and Harold’s names or to the American Cancer Society.
