Joyce Allison's Obituary
Joyce Ann Veronica (Deack) Allison, 83, of North Canton, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:37 pm in North Canton, Ohio.
Born on October 24, 1937 in Alliance, to Nicholas and Anna (Igro) Deack, she lived in North Canton for most of her life.
A 1955 graduate of Alliance High School, she also attended Mount Union College.
Joyce was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
Joyce was an Accounting Manager at General Electric Credit Corporation in Canton and retired in 1993 after 20 plus years of service.
Survivors include her son, Gregory J. (Sandra) Allison of Alliance; two grandchildren, Tyler R. Allison and Jenna M. Allison; a great-granddaughter, Zia J. Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Jesse Allison; her parents; and a brother, Nicholas Deack.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am with Very Rev. Canon Matthew J. Mankowski as celebrant. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, www.st.jude.org.
