Josephine Rogers' Obituary
Josephine Rogers, 92, of Sebring, died on Monday, November 4, 2002, at 4:40 p.m., at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born in Darlington, Pennsylvania on August 19, 1910 and had lived in Alliance most of her life, moving to Sebring last year. She had been employed as a pastry chef at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown and retired from Jade's Restaurant after working as a cook for 20 years. Survivors include two nieces and one nephew. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles Rogers on November 2, 1978 (they were married for 30 years); two sisters, Caroline Dolly Caserta and Emma Ann Richardson; two brothers, Joseph Gregovich and Michael Gregorie; and her parents, Paul and Anna (Popovich) Gregoric. Friends may call at the Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2002, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 :00 a.m. with the Rev. J. Patrick Manning, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
